The pairings of the male quarter-finals are dropped from two pots. Pot one consists of the four winners, in the second pot both winners and second placed of the same group reach the quarter-final. The winner of the quarter-finals 1 and 2 are playing against in semifinal 1, while the winner of the quarter-final 3 and 4 plays the semifinal 2.
